About The Library
Mission of the Online Library
The mission of the Online Library is to create and sustain digital resources and services that cater to the evolving teaching, learning, and research requirements of the Western Global University Distance Learning community.
Our belief is that:
- Equal access to comprehensive library services and resources is crucial for fostering excellent academic skills in higher education, irrespective of the geographical location of students, faculty, and programs.
- Members of the distance learning community deserve equitable access to library services and resources that are on par with those available to students and faculty in traditional campus settings.
Key resources and services
- Databases which contain journals, book reviews, e-books, newspapers and magazines, conference proceedings etc.
- E-books – our principal e-book database is PDF.
- An enquiry service staffed by professional librarians
- The Library also plays a key role in Information Literacy training
Eligibility for services
In order to avail yourself of the services, you must be enrolled in the Western Global University distance learning programs or be a staff member directly involved in delivering and supporting these programs under the employment of the University of London.
To access the wide range of resources offered by the Online Library, simply use your Portal username and password.
